Could This Be The Clearest Pond In Maine? [VIDEO]

The debate is on for the clearest pond in Maine and the front contender is a little known 1037 acre pond in Caratunk called Pleasant Pond. At it's deepest it is almost 200 feet deep, and the water is so clear you can see just about 50 feet down.

Pleasant pond is located a few miles off route 201 in Caratunk, a small town in Somerset County. The population is less than 100 residents in this little town that the Appalachain Trail passes through.
