More than 20 dogs were adopted on Saturday at the Midcoast Humane Society.

According to the Midcoast Humane Society:

Midcoast Humane assisted Brunswick police, the State veterinarian, and animal control officers with the seizure on August 10. The next day, summons were issued to the owners of the River Road property for charges of cruelty to animals, failing to give animals humanely clean conditions, failing to give animals proper indoor shelter, failing to give animals necessary medical attention, and failing to give animals necessary sustenance. The house was condemned.

People from around the state people wanted to adopt these poor dogs. NewsCenter Maine says the line was so long, that they had to hand out tickets to people who were in line for hours.
