3 Foods That I Love That Most People Don’t – What Are Yours?
Every time someone sees me eating any of these foods, the reaction I get is always the same. "You actually like that?"
I think everyone has a food they really enjoy that is a little out of the norm. Maybe it's an acquired taste? Maybe people just don't like it because of the way it looks? Whatever the reason people just can't understand why anyone would eat that. Here are the three foods I love that get that exact reaction.
Tapioca pudding is one of those things that I see in the dairy isle and have a hard time passing up. I'll admit I've eaten and entire tub of this in one sitting while watching TV. Don't judge.
And don't believe anyone who says those are fish eggs in tapioca pudding. Tapioca is a starch from a root and they press it into tapioca pearls. They kind of look like fish eggs.
Deviled ham is a little like Spam, but more minced and spicier. It comes in a can and is delicious in a sandwich if you can get past the fact that it looks like cat food.
Don't let that fool you. It looks better on bread. Right?
I'll admit I don't eat deviled ham often because that's like eating a salt lick everyday, but everything in moderation right?
It's been called grandma's candy, compared to chalk and Lori says I might as well eat Tums, but I love NECCO wafers. They're made right here in New England too. People who eat NECCO's love them and got very upset when the company changed the formula of this classic candy a few years back. Like Coca-Cola in the 80's, they learned their lesson and went back to the original ingredients they've had for 150 years.
