5 Costumes You Shouldn’t Wear at the Insane Inflatable 5K

The Insane Inflatable 5K is this Saturday at Sunset Ridge Golf Links in Westbrook and if you're planning on running in costume like so many people did last year, I've got a few suggestions of what you should NOT dress as. 

1. Captain Phasma from the new Star Wars movie The Force Awakens

First of all the movie isn't even out yet, so let's not rush it. Secondly, if you rent this, you'll end up having to buy it because that stench of sweat is never coming out.

2. Sexy Nurse

There's no such thing as a sexy nurse. I've seen my fair share of nurses, and I'm not saying they aren't attractive, but there's nothing sexy about them once the mask, rubber gloves, and plastic coverall go on so they can draw your blood. Leave this costume at home...in the bedroom closet.

3. Donald Trump

He's running for President, not running a 5K. I mean if you want him in 2016 go for it, but I expect you to be full character.

4. Inflatable Full Body Suit

That's the wrong kind of Insane Inflatable. We'll handle that for you. Option 2: Go for it but you have to be Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory right after she blows up into a blueberry.

5. Army Man

I think you can see the problem running with this. Instead, take the shoes and shirt off, rip the pants a little and go as the Incredible Hulk.
