I was driving up to a four way stop, stopped and the moron across from me plowed right through with a rolling stop, denying me my turn. Thank GOD he's going to get there five seconds earlier than he would've if he hadn't screwed me out of my turn. I resisted the urge to flip him off and honk my horn by picturing a VERY pregnant woman in the throws of a breach birth, why else would he be in such a hurry? If I didn't picture that I probably would've hunted him down and run him off the road : ) It got me thinking about how often this happens and some of the rules and laws we almost always break. Here are SIX I thought of.

FOUR WAY STOPS- At all red flashing lights in a four way stop. the first to arrive goes first...NOT SECOND, ahem! And don't forget that full stop. No rolling stops allowed. I will give an exception to you if your wife has a child sticking halfway out of her body the wrong way : )

JAYWALKING- It's against the law. And it's annoying! Especially here in Portland at lunch time with the Portland HS crowd. Jaywalking is when you walk across the street outside the crosswalk disregarding all rules. It's not like we all haven't done it and it's not the crime of the century but I better see knees to the chest when you're crossing because I sure want to run you down if you take your sweet 'ole time.

HAND WASHING- You've seen the signs "All Employees Must Wash Hands Before Returning to Work." But do they? About two months ago I was in an airport bathroom and saw a fast food worker walk right out without a wash down. Come on!

YOU NEED A LICENSE FOR THAT! Seriously? Yep...you need a license for a lemonade stand...technically. Remember the three girls who made national news in Georgia back in 2011? Check your local city laws. Their law required a $50.00 a day business or food permit.

HANDS OUT OF YOUR FRIEND'S FRIDGE- Mom always said. "Zip up your coat and don't open your friend's fridge, it's rude!" Almost all my friends would get the verbal assault from my mom if they went near our fridge. I still don't open anyone's fridge without asking first. Some habits are hard to break especially when you feared for the future of your fingers if you were ever caught.

THE "RIGHT" LANE- The right lane is for slower traffic, the left is for passing traffic moving quicker. Our older neighbor was so proud of purposely driving slow in the left passing lane just to slow up traffic.

What are some rules or laws you can think of that we a lot of times break? Comment below!
