6 Things We Have To Say Goodbye To With Summer’s Exit
Every year around this time I start getting ready for colder weather, and longer nights. Winter is on the way and we can't stop it. Here are 6 things I'm going to miss most about summer.
1. Those Summer Nights.
One of my favorite things about summer is the long nights where it can stay bright outside 'til around 9 o'clock or so. Buh-Bye..
Soon it will be dark by 4:30.
2. Frying an egg on the sidewalk.
I have never successfully done it, but I've tried. The next sidewalk activity will be shoveling snow. I've done enough of that.
3. Tan Lines, Tan Lines, Tan Lines.
Until next summer tan lines...
4. Finding a swimming hole.
All the little lakes and ponds will be frozen over until April.
5. All the slow driving tourists will be replaced with slow driving plow trucks.
Yes, I know they clear the roads and make them safer to drive on, but still.
6. Goodbye to NOT seeing 'Pumpkin Spice'
