• Q 97.9 is looking for individuals who are interested in working in the crazy yet exciting work of radio.
  
  
• Individual has to have a real passion for the business as well as be very dependable. Plus a love for music and Q 97.9 would not hurt either.
  
  
• As a member of the Q 97.9 Street Team, you will be asked to assist the Promotions Department in reaching on of its many goals---to continue to make Q 97.9 as visible in Southern Maine as possible.
  
  
• The person has to be able to represent Q 97.9 in a very positive and professional manner—which means smile and act and dress appropriately. You can do that right?
  
  
• Appearances range from festivals and sporting events to station client remotes (i.e. Dunkin Donuts, Jolly John etc.) and just plain van runs.
  
  
• This is a paid position. Q 97.9 will also treat you to some of the perks of hanging out at a radio station like concert and sporting tickets, CD’s and more!
  
  
• The position is open to those between the ages of 18 and 24. You must at least have a high school diploma as well as a near-perfect driving record. Those studying for a degree that would like to earn college and graduate credits are also encouraged to apply. Prior radio experience is not required.
  
  
• Job hours will vary. Some weekdays but most definitely weekends!
