The key to island life is patience, especially when it comes to getting on and off the island. Patience was not something a man from Islesboro had over the weekend, when his disobeyed a service workers orders and sped through the loading dock in an attempt to catch a car ferry that had just left the dock in Lincolnville, Maine.

The pictures and story, shared by The Working Waterfront on Facebook, tell the story of the unidentified man who's impatience ending costing the staff at the dock, as well as the passengers already aboard the ferry, a lot of headache.
