Talk about having faith in humanity. A Portland woman who was sick and tired of seeing the blemishes all over her old automobile decided to do something drastic. She painted it all black and then left a box of chalk nearby with a message, "decorate my car".

The car was spotted on Park Street in Portland by NECN/NBC Boston reporter Danielle Waugh and then shared on Instagram. As you can see in the photo above (or below), so far, people have left positive thoughts, funny drawings and of course a "I wish I was a Prius" sarcastic message.

Some may be surprised that nobody has gone overboard with their message or picture making ability. Human nature says that someone,  at some point, will think it's amazing to decorate the car with something not so family friendly. But until then, the woman plans on allowing neighbors and perfect strangers a chance to make her car the most one unique one spotted on the streets of Portland.
