For more than six decades, Pride's Corner Drive-In was a landmark in Westbrook that people flocked to throughout the summer and fall to catch the latest flicks in the comfort of their own car. But a decline in popularity of drive-ins, tied with a change in how modern movies are delivered to theaters, left Pride's Corner without the ability to open for the past couple of years. That all changes now.

Pride's Corner put this up on their Facebook page late Thursday night.

The season for the legendary drive-in is likely to be short for 2017, but there is great hope that the 2018 season will start on time. Congratulations to Pride's Drive-In, we're happy to see a local landmark back in business!
