Another Low Temperature Record Has Been Broken in Portland

Thinking it's never been this cold for this long in these parts? You're right!

At least it appears to be that way in Portland, according to Maine's Chief Meteorologist Roger Griswold.

In his TV weather report this evening, Roger told us that this is the seventh day in a row that Portland failed to get above 15 degrees. He said that he could not find another sub 15 degree seven day stretch, in the city's history!

That's pretty remarkable. So when you're thinking about stories to tell your grandkids many years from now, remember to tell them about the winter of 2017/2018, and how you survived such a frigid week!
