Tracy Morgan Makes Emotional Return to Emmys, Receives Standing Ovation
At last year’s Emmys, Jimmy Kimmel sent a message to Tracy Morgan, who had been hospitalized in a coma following a traffic accident that killed one of Morgan’s friends and fellow comedians. “Shout out to Tracy Morgan, we’ll see you next year, Tracy,” Kimmel told the audience at the time. Almost one year later, Morgan made good on Kimmel’s promise and surprised the Emmys crowd as he arrived on stage to present the final award of the night for Best Drama Series to a standing ovation from the crowd.

Then, in 1997, Farley tragically died of a drug overdose, DreamWorks was forced to recast the role and, in doing so, radically rethink their version of Shrek. Warner Bros. has planned one of the most ambitious trailer launches in history for their upcoming Man of Steel sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. On Monday, April 20, fans can attend a special event at IMAX theaters around the country where the new Batman v Superman trailer will debut after a special introduction from director Zack Snyder. They spent this week teasing that big unveiling with previews of the preview on Snyder’s Twitter feed. This was a carefully orchestrated media event.
