On the 5th of July (Sunday) there was a 17 mile backup on the Turnpike. It took 3 hours to get from Ogunquit to the Hampton tolls! 85% of us plan to getaway this summer. 90% by car! When you pack up the car and head out, where should you go and where should you avoid? 

Using 20 different catagories, WalletHub compared the 50 U.S. states to figure out which ones were the cheapest to travel for the most fun. Some of the things they based it on was average gas prices, the quality of roads and the number of attractions.

Maine landed pretty much smack in the middle (#28). We did have some of the least car thefts, but some of the most expensive camping.
