The Navy Blue Angels were in Brunswick to promote their upcoming air show in September when one of their fighter jets slid off the icy runway.

After skidding off the runway at the former Brunswick Naval air station, the plane ended up in the mud and had to be towed out. Luckily the pilot is fine and the plane is not damaged.

The Blue Angels will be back next Labor Day when the runways should be clear of ice, for the 2015 Great State of Maine Airshow.
