Ryan Stover from Portland has been riding his bike to work from Portland to South Portland for a few years now and has NEVER almost been run off the road by a school bus - until this week.

Ryan has a camera on his bike and his helmet and caught the bus passing so closely (about a foot) that Ryan confronted the driver Leon Spear.

Ryan called the police after the confrontation and they summons Leon for not giving the bike enough room safely. It's a law in Maine that you have to give a bicyclist at least 3 feet.

Driver and bikes are often at odds with one another. I get it, I'm more a driver than a biker - but I do respect anyone willing to pedal somewhere and try to be respectful and give them a wide berth.
