Coming off the warmest October on record for most of the state, apparently November is coming for revenge. Forecasts are calling for a drastic drop in temperatures statewide, including southern Maine dipping below freezing for a HIGH temperature.

It appears the freeze will kick in on Friday, with highs only reaching the upper 20's and low 30's, which should end up being the coldest day of the weekend. Saturday won't exactly bring a heat wave, but temps will be slightly more tolerable. Because of the Arctic air chill moving in, parts of the state could see snowfall if conditions work out perfectly.

It'll be a drastic difference from this past weekend and the early parts of this week, with high temperatures consistently in the 60's and lows only reaching the upper 30's and low 40's. Got your winter coats and hats ready? You should...the chill is coming.
