Castleton United Methodist Church is holding its 31st Annual Fish Fry, Thursday, July 15, through Saturday, July 17 from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. each day. Located at 71st & Shadeland Avenue, look for the “Big Tent” that has been set up just for the occasion. Enjoy hand cut Icelandic cod filets deliciously prepared in a “secret” recipe batter. Side dishes include hot french fries, baked beans, cole slaw and applesauce. Hotdogs are available for youngsters of all ages who aren’t in the mood for fish. Top it all off with a variety of home made pies, cookies and brownies. Plan to eat under the tent and share delightful fellowship with friends, family and new acquaintances. There will be games and entertainment available for children. However, if you are in a hurry there is drive-thru service that has been perfected over the years. This non-religious, non-profit gathering will celebrate this global wave of unity through music, song, poetry, ceremony, meditation and inspirational talks. Together we will share healing intentions and inspire ideas and actions that express Oneness.
