Fill That Bus Kickoff Concert (BENEFIT CONCERT)

LifeChurch in Gorham hosts the FILL THAT BUS Kickoff Concert to benefit the Gorham Ecumenical Food Pantry Saturday, November 7 from 6 – 8 p.m. Appearing are LifeChurch’s own Refuge, and local contemporary Christian rock band Salvation’s House. Admission to the event is any sized box or bag of non-perishable food, which will be loaded onto a full-sized school bus and driven to the Gorham Food Pantry, to be used to help feed the hungry this Thanksgiving. This is an annual event, but due to the overwhelming need this year, we hope to use this concert to fill the bus the night of the event, and again before Thanksgiving. The Auburn Ski Association will be sponsoring their annual Ski Swap, Sunday November 15th from 9:00-2:00 p.m. at the Auburn Middle School. Get great deals and selection on new and used winter sports equipment including skis, boots, poles, snowboards, helmets, clothing and more. This is also an opportunity to sell your quality used equipment. If you have items to sell, bring them to the AMS cafeteria from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday November 14th. There is a 50 cent charge per item and ASA keeps 18 percent of the sales proceeds. Checks from the sale of your items will be available after the Swap from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Sunday. Any items that do not sell must be picked up during that time as well. ASA is a nonprofit organization providing financial support for Alpine and Nordic race programs at Edward Little High School and the Auburn Middle School, as well as the Lost Valley Race Club, SNOMAD, and the Auburn Nordic Ski Association. We also provide scholarships and purchase equipment for our area teams and clubs. ASA has been supporting snow sport programs in the Auburn area for nearly 50 years. "Hoops For Hope" (Charitable Event)

Please join us at Windham High School on November 27th and 28th for the “Hoops for Hope” basketball tournament to benefit The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. Organized by the Windham School Department, this event features a two day high school basketball tournament and a featured “celebrity” game between the Maine State Troopers and members of the Maine Media. "Hoops For Hope" (Charitable Event)

Please join us at Windham High School on November 27th and 28th for the “Hoops for Hope” basketball tournament to benefit The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. Organized by the Windham School Department, this event features a two day high school basketball tournament and a featured “celebrity” game between the Maine State Troopers and members of the Maine Media.
