Cat Thought to Be Dead Digs Itself out of Grave [VIDEO]

This is seriously creepy. Bart the cat was buried in a shallow grave after he was hit by a car in Tampa. Five days later he crawled out of the grave and showed up at home crying for food. 

Bart was dehydrated and hungry, had a broken jaw, ruptured eye and torn up face but he was alive. He truly looks like a zombie cat. His owner said he had never heard of anything like it and that even with all his injuries he was still purring.

Bart had to go through some surgery after rising from the grave. He had the damaged eye removed, his jaw wired shut and a feeding tube inserted, but he's expected to recover and be ready to go home in six weeks.
