Over Columbus Day weekend, the family spent some quality time in the White Mountains of NH. The first thing we had to do was take the Kancamags Highway. Two things were on our 'to do list' - The Lost River and The Flume Gorge

We stayed at a place called Indian Head Resort (um...a little exaggeration with the resort part) but it was great! Had all the things you need. Food, pool, game room. Done. Oh and a view of Indian Head! Who knew it was a mountain?

I know, I know. But truly....look realllly close. It looks like the head of a Native American.

I love sta-cationing in Maine. I love my state - but it was kinda nice to visit our neighbors to the south.
