I'm a huge David Letterman fan. I was surprised at his announcement to retire - and at the same time I understand he has done his time and wants to move on. Colbert is going to be great. Dave has put some of the best comedy ever on late night TV. Check out the best of Letterman here.

I got into radio because of David Letterman. I used to record his TV show on cassette and listen to it in my car - like it was a radio show. I listened to his comedy-timing, self-deprecating humor and overall attitude. A lot of these "best of" clips, I watched when they originally aired. Colbert will be great - and eventually a legend. Letterman is already a legend - and an icon. He's the man.
