However, this Craigslist posting from Augusta puts a completely different spin on the meaning of a missed connection.

The post is titled 'Forever is as Far as I'll Go' the song by Alabama that this man and his now ex-wife danced to 25 years ago. Here's what he writes...

That was our song. I played it for you on the radio, we danced to it at our reception.
Hard to believe that was 25 years ago. Forever wasn't to mean we divorce 10 years later.
For the past 15 years I have tried other relationships, but they failed. They failed because I compared them to the life I had with you. You were my soul mate for sure. When we made love it was like part of me was part of you. Like we were of one body and heart. You are the only person I have ever felt that way with.
I know at the end of things we both made mistakes that I believe our own pride kept us from admitting to them and working things out like every married couple should. And over the years since I know even more mistakes were made in our lives.
But the bottom line is I miss you. I still love you. I still do things and wonder how we could do it together. I do this every day. Some say I'm crazy and learn to move on after all this time, but it's harder then they know. You said in the beginning you would prove to me how much you loved me and how you would be there forever. You proved the first part beyond anything I could imagine. We were good together. We still held hands walking everywhere we went. We knew what to say and how to touch each other to make everything alright.
I love you. I miss you. I don't know how much longer Forever will be, but with or without you, it's as far as I'll go.

We of course don't know the circumstance behind their divorce, but it sure seems that his life will never be the same without her.
