Car is Destroyed After Striking Maine Moose

Imagine you are driving on the highway at night, it is still dark; then a moose jumps our right in front of you. Terrifying!

Channel WMTW Channel 8 reported today that 49-year-old Paul McCleary was driving last night on Route 2A in Glenwood Plantation at around 8:50 p.m. As he was driving, a moose made his way onto the road in front of him. He literally had no time to react, and he hit the moose head on. Maine State Police came onto the scene, and what they saw was shocking. The car was completely totaled.

Thankfully, McCleary survived the crash.
