Does the New Star Wars Movie Live Up to the Hype? [VIDEO]

Movie Mom thinks so...but it's not as good as the Force Awakens. 

It's time to geek out once again Star Wars fans! I have lost complete track of what number this is, but 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is the story BEFORE the very first Star Wars movie story line. The Star Wars movie called Star Wars that's from the 70's. It's all about how they got the plans for the Death Star.

Movie Mom enjoyed it very much and loved the tip of the hat to true Star Wars fans.

Also opening this weekend is 'Collateral Beauty' with Will Smith. Will Smith's character loses a son and questions the universe by writing to Love, Time and Death. Receiving unexpected answers, he begins to see how these things interlock and how even loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.

Movie Mom cried. She also cried at Rogue One.

The other big release doesn't appear to be in Maine yet, is 'LaLa Land'. It's getting a TON of award nominations - but Mainers will have to wait a little bit longer.

Out on video is a great date movie, 'Southside With You' - the story of how the Obama's met. Movie Mom's parents are portrayed in the movie. Of course, according to Movie Mom, they are much better looking and nicer in person.
