The Tri-County Literacy program has some December fun in store for you and your family. The 9th annual Candy Cane Train will feature Santa, stories for kids, cookies and much more fun! There will be 4 trips from the Bath to Wiscasset on December 13th and 14th. Get more info and buy tickets here

The Tri-County Literacy program serves Cumberland, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties in Maine. They are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving people’s lives through three literacy programs.

1. Family Literacy programRead With Me, brings children, parents, and books together to experience the joy of reading.

2. Adult Literacy programLiteracy Volunteers, helps adults improve their reading and writing skills with free, one-on-one, individualized and small group tutoring.

3. Reading For Better Business is an outreach project of Literacy Volunteers to inform employees and employers about Literacy Volunteers tutoring for adults.
