Double Dare Host Marc Summers Returns to Maine to Appear on 400th Episode of ‘The Nite Show with Danny Cashman’
"I'm going to ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, or think the other team hasn't got a clue, you can dare them to answer it for double the dollars. But, be careful, because they can always double dare you back for four times the amount, and then you either have to answer that question or take the physical challenge."
If you recognize those iconic words, then you no doubt were a fan of the Nickelodeon game show Double Dare hosted by Marc Summers. Kids competed in physical challenges to win cash and prizes and win their way to the infamous Double Dare obstacle course where if you can't find that flag in the giant tank of gak, you'll just end up going home with a pair of sneakers.
Danny Cashman, host of the Maine produced late night talk show The Nite Show is having Marc back as a guest for the show's 400th episode. Why? Because Danny is a HUGE Double Dare fan. So much so that when was a kid he would host his own version of Double Dare and plans to show an old home video of it to Marc when he returns as a guest this Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 on CBS 13.
Will Marc host another version of a Double Dare physical challenge like he did back on a 2011 episode of The Nite Show?
We'll have to wait and see.
Marc will probably be promoting the new documentary about his life appropriately called On Your Marc.
Don't miss Marc Summers on The Nite Show with Danny Cashman this Saturday night at 7:30 on CBS 13. If you can't catch it then, you can see it again at 10:30 on Fox 23 and at 1AM Sunday on CBS 13.
