One person is in serious condition after a driver crashed through the wall of the Third Alarm Diner on Washington Street in Sanford.

A three car accident sent 28-year-old Mark Nolet's vehicle through the wall hitting several people inside the diner before coming to a rest. One person inside the diner was air lifted to Maine Med and was listed in serious condition.

Nolet was arrested for driving with a a license.

The iconic diner has some major damage, so it may be a little while before they can reopen.
