Before the amazing line up of concerts happened on Sunday at the Dunkin Donut Superstage, day one of the three day Old Port Fest started on Friday and the family ventured into town.

Friday night was First Friday AND circus night! First up was The Circus Conservatory of America who are actually forming in Portland. It's clown college! Well...they describe it as 'an institution for higher education with a primary mission to provide the highest caliber artistic education available in the United States to circus artists and to foster sustaining career opportunities for our students.' See? Clown College! They were spectacular!

Then it was The Red Trouser Show. These guys were incredible. Funny, gravity defying talent and so creative! They built up to the 'final act'. First was one of their hardest feats - the head to head pose!

There's only a little pad between their two noggins!

They really had the crowd engaged! And I absolutely loved their sense of humor.

The one (or so) act led up to their 'final act'. I climbed on a van to get this shot. Just want to thank the lady who pushed my big butt until I could balance on the bumper! Thank you! They are balancing on a ladder held by strangers in the audience. These skinny little guys didn't look like their had the strength between them - but they truly were the best!

The Old Port Fest rocked this year! More 3 day festivals!!
