Portland Pride!

June 9th - June 18th

Pride Portland! is a celebration of Portland, Maine’s LGBTQIA — lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, ally/asexual community. Our goal is to bring people together to celebrate the achievements of the LGBTQIA movement, remember our history and raise awareness of the work that still needs to be done. Fostering and honoring inclusivity, diversity and unity. Pride Portland! builds stronger connections amongst individuals, organizations and businesses.

Pride Portland! is entirely volunteer-run and counts on the generous contributions made by members of our community FOR members of our community.

Congratulations to the Lewiston / Auburn Pride Festival! It's the first one ever!

Mission
Pride L-A began in order to organize an annual celebration for the LGBTQ community, its friends, families and supporters - - and, to each year increase the participation of individual community members, as well as local businesses, non-profits, and municipal/public institutions.

Vision
To assure ongoing promotion and support, for LGBTQ individuals and families, in order to bring about greater pride and respect.

To achieve, in Lewiston-Auburn and beyond, inclusive prosperity - and recognition that LGBTQ persons belong to a broader-community that values diversity, and stands against injustice or discrimination based upon a person’s actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.
