A local non-profit organization called Creative Work Systems is collecting gently used men's suits and professional work attire. The suits will be donated at an upcoming Suits for Jobs event with the hope of helping men with disabilities interview properly and find jobs. This is a great way to clear you closet and make a difference!

Please check your closets for gently worn items of professional clothing and bring them to the Men’s Wearhouse locations at 200 Running Hill Road, Portland, and 5 Senator Way, Augusta. These items are being collected by the Maine non-profit organization Creative Work Systems.

Clothing collected during the month of July will be distributed to Creative Work Systems Employment Services for a Suits for Jobs Giveaway event to be held at the Maine CareerCenter in Portland on Friday, October 24 with the goal of helping people with disabilities find jobs and develop careers in the community.

As a thank you, all donors will receive 50 percent off their next purchase from Men’s Wearhouse (some exceptions apply).

You can learn more about this event here and about Creative Work Systems here.

I have a couple suits that are in need of a home and plan to drop them off next week! Hope you'll do the same. Please spread the word and help change someone's life!
