Budweiser has had a lot of success with puppies in their Super Bowl commercials, so Go Daddy thought they'd poke fun at those commercials with one of their own. Big mistake.

Go Daddy's version features a golden retriever puppy who falls out of the back of a truck and the finds his way home only to find out his owner is going to sell him to a breeder online.

Well animal lovers certainly didn't find it funny, including the SPCA. The CEO of Go Daddy responded to the SPCA on Twitter saying they would not air the commercial.

I'm not sure I buy the claim that making this commercial supports inhumane breeding, but I get that it's probably not the best marketing choice by Go Daddy. Animal lovers are very passionate people.

Here's the commercial you won't see along with the Budweiser spot from last year's Super Bowl that it parodies. I've posted to formats of the video since some aren't able to see it on their mobile devices.

Do you find Go Daddy's commercial funny? Do you think the commercial shows a support of inhumane breeding or is it just some harmless poking fun? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook and Twitter.
