Guess How Much This Cape Elizabeth Home Is Selling For

When I think of expensive homes in Maine, the first town that comes to mind is Cape Elizabeth. It has some of the best ocean views in all of Maine so it's no surprise that the homes there go for a ton of cash. Out of all of them, this one happens to go for the most. 

Realtor.com lists this 5 bedroom, 4 full, 2 half bath, 11 other room, 8600 square foot home on Zeb Cove Road for a whopping $6 million! Okay, technically $5,995,000 but what's another 5K right?

What else costs $6 million?

• Every episode of 'Game of Thrones'
• 4 train locomotives
• 16 homes in Portland based on the average selling price
• Season tickets to Fenway Park for 572 years
• 102 years of college at Harvard

So maybe there are better things you can buy with $6 million.

If I had $6 million to spend, I'd just buy a nice meager house for around 200K with a two car garage, about 50 pinball machines in a game room in the basement, I'd send my kid to Harvard for just four years (7 if he goes to law school), and then retire from radio and watch TV and read comic books for the rest of my life.
