Guess Who I Met?

I had a chance to meet someone recently and I was thrilled. It was very special and the kids were flipping out!

I got to meet Patriot's running back Dion Lewis!

There's that damn 'orthodondist picture' I take. It's like it's a goal of mine to show you all of my teeth! Ugh. He was super nice and NONE of it would have been possible without John Kameisha from the Sea Dogs. He was so kind and helped get my family in to meet Dion. The twins (8-year olds) and the 10-year old were super excited and Dion was so shy and sweet and well...I was thrilled too.

We almost gasped when we saw him enter the field!

He was very generous and signed a bunch of stuff for the Sea Dogs and then for us...

Dion tore his ACL in the 9th week last year and was out for the season. He's still rehabbing the leg, but says that he's getting better. Can't wait to root for him and the Patriots this season.

But before we do that, I'll be rooting for our hometown boys, the Portland Sea Dogs. Thanks again gang for making it such a memorable night.
