Here’s Why You Should Watch Sunday’s Rare Supermoon Eclipse [VIDEO]
This Sunday night you can witness a lunar event that happens once every 20 years or so. We will be in the perfect viewing area, with mostly clear skies.
A supermoon, occurs when the moon is at it's closest point to earth, making it appear 14 percent larger. Tomorrow night we will not only have a supermoon, there will also be a lunar eclipse which will make the moon have a deep red color. This event has only happened 5 times since 1900 and the next one won't take place until 2033.
