How You Can Help Those Affected by ‘The Gauntlet’ Hayride Accident

After the tragedy on The Guantlet hayride at Pumpkin Land in Mechanic Falls, communities are pulling together to support one another and you can help with your support too. 

The Red Barn in Augusta already had a fundraiser scheduled for project graduation for Messalonskee High School on Monday from 4-6PM. That fundraiser will still go on but will also serve as a place for students to gather and grieve after the death of 17-year-old Cassidy Charette who was a junior at Messalonskee. As of this writing, 16-year-old Connor Garland is undergoing surgery for his injuries at Boston Children's Hospital. A support page has been set up on Facebook along with a GoFundMe page to help the family with medical expenses.
