Hurricane Jose has been a tough nut to crack when it comes to prediction. In the very first projections, it appeared to be following directly in the path of the deadly Hurricane Irma. Models that followed afterward had Jose heading out deep into the Atlantic Ocean, or potentially finding landfall in New York or New England. Forecasters now believe it's going to be somewhere in between those early projections.

It appears most of the models keep the eye (or what will be left of it) of Hurricane Jose off in the Atlantic. Some of the swirling winds and rainfall should affect New England. That could also pose a danger to oceanside towns and villages, that may experience rough surf and potential flooding dangers. The storm wouldn't hit until next Tuesday and Wednesday, so keep an eye on weather forecasts and further updates as the path of Hurricane Jose becomes more clear.
