The other day while I was perusing Imgur, I came across this crazy fast way to peel a hard-boiled egg. In this method, you place the egg and some water in a glass and shake it aggressively until the water drains out, shattering the egg and sliding the whole shell off in one piece. In the demo, it looks like the easiest thing ever:

So I gave it a whirl... and things went a little differently.

It didn't go nearly as well as it did for Mr. Demo Dude. Why?! Why doesn't it ever go how it's supposed to?! I guess it's back to the ol' peel it by hand method for me. Sigh.
