I Don’t Like Pina Coladas and I DEFINITELY Don’t Like Getting Caught In The Rain!

Jimmy Buffett is crazy. Do people really like getting caught in the rain? That's exactly what I did yesterday and I can resoundingly say NO! 

UPDATE: I'm also an idiot and was told that Jimmy Buffett doesn't sing 'The Pina Colada Song.' I'm getting my Pina Colada's and Margarita's mixed up. HA! Get it? Can you tell I'm not a parrot head? Moron.

I park on Commercial street in Portland and walk up to the Q studios at One City Center and yesterday I came to work without a jacket or umbrella. Big mistake.

I waited for a break in the rain when it came I began my trek to Commercial Street by the time I got to Spring street, maybe a quarter of the way to my car, the skies opened up BIG TIME.

I was soaked to the bone when I got in my car and had an hour drive ahead of me. Fun stuff. My sneakers are still soaked this morning.

I guess there's a reason we have meteorologists. I should pay more attention to them. Until then I'll be wringing out my shorts.

UPDATE: Now here's Rupert Holmes, the actual dude who sings the song. I don't like him much either.
