I Rappelled Off One City Center and Here’s the Full Video

Remember when I rappelled off One City Center even though I'm terrified of heights? I had photos to prove it last week but the video is a whole different view of the experience.

Now that it's over, I'm so proud of myself for conquering my fear of heights and taking on the Rappel for Rippleffect challenge. I hope to have the opportunity to go Over the Edge again next year to support the leadership programs and other great opportunities Rippleffect provides for area kids and teens.

The footage was captured by Headlight Audio Video services. You can see the entire process, from getting clipped into the ropes system, my face rapidly moving through every emotion, and the incredible views on the trip down the building. The rappel starts around minute 4:15 and the video switches to the GoPro mounted on my rappelling buddy's helmet for a stellar first person view of the rappel.
