Kyle Rankin, a well known film maker from Portland, is at it again. This time he's shooting, 'Night of the Living Deb'.  Kyle shot to film stardom when he and Efram Potelle won the HBO contest 'The Greenlight Project' backed by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Kyle and Efram beat out all other directors to make the film, 'The Battle of Shaker Heights' with Shia La Beouf in 2003. Since then, Kyle makes it back to Portland whenever he can. Filming of 'The Night of the Living Deb' will shoot throughout Portland until the first of July. They are very excited to have Maria Thayer as Deb. You may remember Maria from 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' or 'Strangers with Candy'. So look for Zombies...

Zombies are all the rage right now and in Kyle Rankin's hands, this is gonna be a great movie! (by the way, this scene with the two zombies and the car took almost 4 hours to shoot). The Press Herald was there too!
