This was actually on the news while I was in Idaho. Amy Pence-Brown stripped down to her bra and underwear right in the middle of the busy farmer's market in downtown Boise, Idaho recently. The reaction was amazing!

Amy had a sign that read:

"I'm standing for anyone who has struggled with a self-esteem issue like me, because all bodies are valuable. To support self-acceptance, draw a heart on my body."

Amy wasn't sure how she'd be accepted, especially in conservative Boise, Idaho. Plus, she calls herself fat and almost 40 with stretch marks that brought four kids into the world.

After 50 minutes teens, children, men, women, and entire families stopped to offer her more than hand-drawn hearts. Many people hugged her, and thanked her - even leaving flowers behind.

Amy wrote in her blog "In a society that profits from self-doubt, liking yourself is a rebellious act. All bodies are beautiful."  Amen.
