I’m One Week Into ‘No Shave November’

Today is the seventh day since I decided to let my beard grow for No Shave November to raise awareness and money for cancer. The bad news is I'm even more grey now. The good news?  The crazy itch that every one has warned me about hasn't started yet.

No Shave November is a month that people are encouraged to let their beard grow to embrace the hair they have. Hair that most cancer patients lose during chemotherapy. It's also a way to help raise money for The American Cancer Society.

Lori seems to think the beard isn't growing that fast, but I don't know. Every morning I wake up and look in the mirror and don't recognize the person starting back at me. I'll carry on though until the end of the month. I've got the itch soothing skin lotion at the ready. Bring it!
