I’m Playing Wheelchair Basketball With Lee Goldberg for National Rehab Week.

For years Lee Goldberg (ya know, sports guy on WCSH6) and I have participated in a street hockey game at New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland. This year, we will be competing in wheelchair basketball!

If you didn't know, it's National Rehab Week. New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland celebrates it every year. For the past several years, I have been lucky to be invited to be part of it. Tuesday, September 21st, it's a wheelchair basketball game with NERHP staff, former patients and 'local celebrities'. That's me and Lee.

The CEO will be there grilling hamburgers (and veggie burgers too) in the parking lot. It's a lot of fun with a group of very dedicated workers and patients who appreciate the care they've received.
