It's happening... two-term Maine Republican governor Paul LePage's tenure is just about at an end.

This morning, Lane Boucher on Twitter posted a photo of a U-Haul backed up to the governor's mansion in Augusta.

The Blaine House, right across the street from the Maine State House, has been the home to governors of Maine since 1919. 100 years later, Maine's first woman to serve as chief executive will move in and start her term in the first week of January.

Janet Mills was elected governor in November, and will be sworn in on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019. Paul LePage has said that he will move to Florida after his term concludes, but might run again if he doesn't like how Mills handles the job.

The inauguration is set for Wednesday evening, January 2nd, and the inaugural ball is scheduled for Friday night, January 4th, both at the Augusta Civic Center.
