It’s Ice Cream Weather

Have you noticed? Most ice cream places are open and ready for the ice cream season! This was the first real weekend for it and people and dogs came out in droves. Here's a list of now open local ice cream joints and how healthy is it for your four legged friend?

If you just read the list above, than know that I visited each one of these spots this past weekend in celebration of Spring and Summer. Granted, i'm a frozen yogurt kind of girl so the calories are a lot less but non the less, I had way too much sugar and enjoyed every second of it. In fact, I ate so much ice cream this weekend that I ended up going for an extra walk just to burn off some of the added calories. Paco, my little Chihuahua also reaped the benefits of my splurge with a special doggy dish made deliciously topped with a milk bone doggie treat. I'm happy for the warmer weather but even happier that it's ice cream season!
