The FCC just approved new net neutrality rules that will require internet service providers to treat all data on their networks equally. It's good news for everyone but is still a little confusing.

Last June on HBO's 'Last Week Tonight', host John Oliver hilariously explained what net neutrality is and even went so far as to tell everyone to leave comments on the FCC's website.

His plan worked. The FCC was inundated with comments on net neutrality which along with the urging of President Obama, is being attributed to the FCC putting these rules in place when for a time it looked like they wouldn't.
