Lewiston Police announced on their Facebook page this afternoon that they have arrested a 76-year-old man in connection with the stabbing death of a 48-year-old mother that happened in front of her two children.

According to WGME 13, Kimberly Dobbie was stabbed outside Rancourt's Laundromat on Sabattus Street around 11 a.m. Sunday right in front of her two children as she exited the building after starting a load of laundry.

Lewiston Police have now arrested Albert Flick of Auburn and charged him with murder. He was arrested after being discharged from Central Maine Medical Center for chest pains after the incident.

Flick knew the victim, but as of now police are not reporting on a motive. Flick will appear in Androscoggin Superior Court on Wednesday morning.
