Local Dog Waited Months for His Forever Home, See His Happy Face

Last month we featured Duke, a pit bull mix adult dog at Kennebec Valley Humane Society, in our Sexiest Man Alive in Maine Plays with Adoptable Animals video. Duke waited many months at the shelter, doing his best to impress the humans who passed him by. His breed intimidated some. Pit bulls are often misunderstood, but Duke was lovable, playful, and although timid at first, he warms up to people and shows off his personality.

When Zach Miller, the Sexiest Man Alive in Maine, met Duke, it was clear this dog deserved a loving home.

On Monday, February 8th, Duke met the people who would give him the loving home he so deserved.
