Local Officials & Celebrities Getting Locked Up for a Good Cause

Volunteers have accepted the challenge to sit in jail in orange suits and handcuffs at the Police & Fire public safety building in Gorham (located at 270 Main St. near Narragansett School) until they each raise at least $2500 in bail to be set free! Monies raised will benefit programming, the installation of a sprinkler system and other improvements at the new Community Arts Center located at 34 School St, Gorham.

Gorham's Police Chief, Gorham school leadership, business owners and more will soon learn what it's like to be behind jail bars, all in the name of raising money. You can find out who has volunteered for this stunt and choose who you'd like to donate to and "get out of jail" by clicking here.
