I can't be the only one who does this: when watching a movie or TV I'll absent-mindedly start browsing on my phone. Sometimes it's so bad that I have the TV playing, my laptop open in front of me, and my phone STILL somehow steals my attention. I don't mean to, but I can't help it! How many screens does it take for me to be happy? Am I not entertained?!

Hold tight, I may have a solution for us. Recently, a friend of mine pulled out his phone and his whole screen was grayscale. When I asked him why he had it that way, he replied, "so I don't want to look at it!" And it's true - even glancing at the phone, you're not sucked in the way you are with a colorful screen.

If you have an iPhone and you want to try this out, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accomodations > Color Filters, then toggle the switch off for color filter.

I'm going to give this a try and see if it makes a difference in my addiction to the screen. I'll update you in a few weeks on my progress!
